Senior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services) – Dublin
 

We are currently partnering with a leading building services consultancy in Dublin to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across Ireland.
 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take ownership of projects while progressing toward Associate level within a well-established and growing consultancy.
 

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage concept through to construction and handover.
 

You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and efficient design solutions.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical (HVAC) design across multiple projects
• Deliver designs from concept, detailed design, through to construction stage
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across disciplines
• Ensure compliance with Irish and UK building regulations and standards
• Support project delivery, technical reviews, and client engagement
• Contribute to value engineering and design optimisation

Requirements

• 8–12 years’ experience within building services engineering
• Strong consultancy background (essential)
• Proven experience in HVAC / mechanical design
• Solid understanding of Irish and UK standards and regulations
• Experience working across sectors such as commercial, education, remediation or similar
• Ability to manage workload across multiple projects

Salary & Progression

• €95,000 – €105,000 depending on experience
• Clear pathway toward Associate level
• Progression linked to leadership, client development, and commercial performance
