HSE Manager – Hospital & Residential – South Dublin

We are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Main Contractor with bases across Ireland who have seen success across several projects. Due to continued success, there is currently now the need for an experienced HSE Manager to oversee both a new Hospital build and 2 Apartment builds (Within 15 minutes of each other).

Responsibilities

·Develop and Implement Site-Specific HSE Plans:

Lead the development and execution of tailored Health, Safety & Environmental Management Plans for each project, ensuring alignment with current legislation, company policies, and client requirements.

·Conduct Site Audits and Risk Assessments:

Carry out regular inspections and comprehensive risk assessments across the hospital and apartment sites to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards.

·Promote a Culture of Safety:

Actively engage with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to promote a strong safety-first culture through toolbox talks, training sessions, and daily briefings.

·Monitor and Report HSE Performance:

Track and report on-site safety metrics, incidents, and near-misses. Ensure timely reporting to senior management and regulatory bodies, while continuously driving improvement.

·Ensure Compliance and Support Investigations:

Ensure full compliance with all statutory and company HSE regulations. Lead incident investigations when required, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

Must have relevant Health & Safety qualifications i.e. NEBOSH

Must have 5+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role on Hospital projects or similar

Must be based in or within a commutable distance of Dublin

Must have excellent communication skills (Written & Oral)
