HSE Lead – Residential – Dublin

Our client is a €1.5bn turnover, multi-disciplined Tier 1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects

Due to continued growth in the region of their Residential division, our client is now seeking an experienced HSE Lead to join their team in Dublin.

Responsibilities

•   Lead Site Safety Management:
Take ownership of all health, safety, and environmental activities on a busy residential construction site, ensuring full compliance with company policies and Irish legislation.
•   Ensure PSCS Compliance:
Oversee implementation of duties under the Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) role, coordinating safety with all subcontractors and ensuring site-wide compliance.
•   Conduct Audits & Risk Assessments:
Plan and carry out regular site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring hazards are identified, mitigated, and documented appropriately.
•   Deliver Safety Training & Inductions:
Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings for all staff and subcontractors, promoting a proactive and positive safety culture across the project.
•   Incident Investigation & Reporting:
Manage all incident and accident investigations, maintain statutory records, and report findings to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.

Requirements

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role
Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin
Must have NEBOSH qualification or similar
Must have excellent communication skills (Written and Oral)
